Wreck

Witness relics first-hand. Explore and learn the history of the many shipwrecks that lie at the bottom of our lakes and oceans. In fact, many of the less-known wrecks lie at the bottom our nearby lakes. The St.-Lawrence River and Great Lakes are also the resting ground of many famous shipwrecks and are world-renowned as premier wreck diving sites. Wreck diving is also for fish enthusiasts since many creatures choose wrecks as their home. Wreck diving is not only destined to explorers but is also useful for learning new fining techniques and learning the proper way of using a dive reel. Contact us for further details.

Enriched air (Nitrox)

Do you regularly have to cut short on your dives when your tank still contains more than enough air to prolong your bottom time? Increase your level of safety, especially when doing multiple dives in one day, in a week or when frequently diving in the 18 to 30 metres (60’ to 100’) zone. Enriched air diving is also a prerequisite to certain Technical diving courses. Contact us for further details.

Drysuit

Want to dive year-round? With a drysuit you can! Dive in water and weather conditions most divers shy away from and gain the opportunity to explore new environments. Some of the richest marine environments in the world are cold-water environments. One example is the well known site of Les Escoumins, located to hours away from Québec City. Diving in a drysuit is also much more pleasant when ice diving. Even if the initial cost of a drysuit can be somewhat intimidating, you must remember that with a drysuit, not only will you be able to prolong your season but also log longer bottom times and dive more often during the same day. Also, drysuits are much more resistant and will last you for years. Contact us for further details.

Deep

What mysteries lie in the depths beyond the 30 metres (100’) set by your Advanced Open Water certification? Come learn with us how to safely dive to the limits of recreational diving, 40 metres (130’). Also learn what effects increased pressure can have on your body. Not only will new dive sites become accessible to you, this course is also an introductory to Technical diving. Contact us for further details.

Drift

Many dive sites are subject to moderate and sometimes strong currents. Diving with ease, whether going down-current or up-current, requires the mastering of specific techniques. Drift diving, while certainly challenging, can often be high on thrills. Learn how to tame the elements and avoid fighting against currents taking you in the opposite direction chosen. Learn how to stay in groups and handle a surface buoy when drift diving from a boat. Contact us for further details.
